I've
only really been online since last June, but in that short period
of time I've amassed TONS of email. Granted, between the spam
and adult solicitations, it makes me glad some of this stuff
isn't sent to me via snail mail. I don't think my mailbox could
accomodate it all...or the rain forests, for that matter. However,
I do make a point of reading ALL of my mail, no matter what the
packaging may look like, or if it's something that's being FWD'd
to me. Because I've learned that on occassion, you'll read something
exceptionally profound or meaningful, or just plain funny. And
sometimes it comes just at that moment when you needed to hear
it. I've taken the liberty of sifting through my last year's worth of mail (yes, it did take FOREVER, thankyouverymuch), in order to bring you some things that have stuck with me. Some of these pieces may be familiar...maybe you sent them to me, or vice-versa. Regardless, I felt the need to try and collect them all, and maybe cull some meaning from them. Hopefully at least one of these missives will grab you the way they've grabbed me. And for pity's sake...don't send them to me again! |
